For Your Viewing Pleasure!

We made it to Costa Rica and found a great hostel with FREE internet. So, we spent a good chunk of time uploading pictures from the last two months (until the camera started having trouble).

Enjoy the pics!

We start work tomorrow on an organic coffee farm where we will be harvesting ¨grapes¨ for six hours a day, which is ironic since neither of us actually drink coffee. But, we are looking forward to learning more about organic labeling, getting some exercise, and sharpening our mad Spanish skills.

Since we will not have access to an internet connection for two weeks, we wanted to wish a happy birthday to our fabulous brothers!

Francis will turn 40 on October 17th (whoa, that´s old!) and Brian will turn 30 on October 21st (whoa, that's old too!).

We knew you would be giddy about the pictures of Bomberos. And to answer your questions:

-International G138
-100,000 liters (metric system, silly)
-10,000 LPM
-they don´t have "quints", but the ladder is 25m
-well, I can't seem to recall how big your hose is....but here, they are HUGE (we're talking serious girth - 25cm)
-it is not foam capable
-the crew cab holds 23 women (just like all other transportion, they really pack them in!)

Any other questions, old man?

And I'm keeping the beard. Liz likes it. ;-)

Besides, without it I wouldn't have the joy of being confused with Osama Bin Laden or a major pot head. How can I pass up such an opportunity?

For the record, it is the same polish that I had on in June. Seriously, how did you notice that?

Have the fried dough ready for me when we get to Seneca Falls! :)
