lawn art

In hopes of passing a significant amount of time on such a dreary spring day, I've been perusing my e-world. I'm very aware of the utter lack of recent blog content. I guess I opted to interact with reality for the last few months rather than posting random Idol recap emails just to fill the void.

Enough already.

So it's early spring in upstate NY. The geese are flying overhead (again), the birds are out, and some poor lettuce that never had a prayer last year in the overly planted vegetable garden has resurfaced with a year's worht of pent up energy. I was hoping for a nice sunny weekend...heck, I would have settled for nice OR sunny. But what do I know? It's about 50 degrees outside and raining. Weather aside, it was going to be a nice day to throw a garage sale (...nice that it's the only weekend we're in town before THE GREAT ESCAPE.). Unfortunately, garage sales at the beginning of spring hardly put weather aside. It's too bad really, because we're about $8 in the hole, not even making enough to cover the cost to put the ad in the paper. Oh well.

e-world: I spent a little time organizing pictures, which inevitably meant going through many related to the wedding. The few that have been uploaded to flickr to date you'll see below. They bring back such strong emotions, it's hard to put into words...or at least words I'm comfortable sharing! Without further ado, enjoy what we did upon returning from our Jamaican honeymoon...
